Men spent Friday night at Matthew Mast’s home place…now the home of Michael and Eunice Mast. Great hospitality!
Admired the home of Janelle Mast next to Michaels.

2017 Ministry Tour–Houston, Texas
The Faith Builders Ministry and General Studies students have been anticipating and planning for months to spend the coming week participating in prison ministry in South Carolina. The carefully laid plans suddenly became obsolete when we received word that South Carolina prisons are going into lockdown ahead of Hurricane Irma. The student planning committee went into overdrive seeking an alternative ministry opportunity.
The committee hoped that Christian Aid Ministries would be able to utilize our crew of 23 people in Hurricane Harvey cleanup in Houston. Unfortunately, CAM had their slots full for this time frame and was not able to accommodate us. It feels like a gift from the Lord that a door opened through a friend of one of our students at University Baptist Church in Houston. UBC has a strong Hurricane Harvey relief program in progress and has more work than workers. We anticipate lodging the ladies at Ryan and Louisa Seapy’s home (Louisa is a former Kansan from the Schmucker family). Men plan to lodge in Sunday School rooms at UBC.
The trip is approximately 22 hours on the road each way. Our goal is to encourage believers and point people to our Lord. Please pray for us!
