Because of the previous very late night, we had a slower morning with brunch at 10:00. We debriefed the previous day then gathered in the living room for a time of singing together.
Soon after noon, we loaded the vans and headed 30 minutes uptown to Queens and Ministry Training Center. The friendly staff welcomed us and we spent some time to settle in our new spaces. Then we met in the classroom for Joel’s class on Personal Evangelism.
To practice what we’d been hearing about, we followed the interns to a subway station. We set up a Bible table and sang while several handed out tracts and had conversations with people.
After supper, Jesse led the group in a cross-cultural communication practice with each other. The students showed creativity and resilience in cracking the mysterious codes!
